The prices on this site are typical ranges from our recent estimates across the Denver area, with no rebates taken off. Half of those estimates fall inside each range. The ranges for a heat pump with a new gas furnace and for a ducted heat pump follow our current pricing instead. Out-of-pocket figures are what most Xcel gas customers in the Denver metro have paid since October 1, 2026, after every rebate.
Rebate amounts change often. Xcel Energy changed its heat pump rebates on October 1, 2026, so this site names the programs and leaves the amounts to your quote.
Local facts
The two electric utilities and the Switch Together group buy come from the City and County of Broomfield. Permit review times and the smoke and carbon monoxide alarm rule come from the Broomfield Building Division. Program rules come from United Power, Power Ahead Colorado and the Colorado Energy Office. We checked all of them on October 8, 2026.
